Who am I?
I work in sport to build environments where people develop, not just perform.
My career spans youth development, coach education, and technical leadership across both mainstream and Paralympic pathways. I currently work with the Pararoos, Australia’s national team for athletes with cerebral palsy and acquired brain injuries, contributing in a multi-disciplinary role across coaching, performance analysis, and sport science.
I spent over 11 years in leadership roles at North West Sydney Football and NWS Spirit FC, starting as a coach, progressing to Head of Football. I was deeply involved in long-term program design, club development frameworks, and organisational growth. This work culminated in the club being recognised as the only Gold-standard club under Football NSW’s Club Standards framework.
Alongside applied leadership and coaching, I’ve lectured in sports coaching and management at tertiary level, with a focus on developing future coaches and leaders in sport.
I’m particularly interested in inclusive and para pathways, leadership through clarity and trust, and building systems that support people to grow over time. I’m open to conversations around sports leadership, coaching, inclusive sport, and development roles where people, culture, and long-term impact matter.
Here, I write about player development, coach evaluation, Paralympic sport and football, all with the aim of ‘becoming a better coach’.
